The Secret of the Cave is the first adventure of Avi and Aquila the Last Eagle, comprising panels 1 through 39 and counting.

In this first adventure, we are introduced to Avi (she/her, for now), a reporter for local newspaper The National Chronicle, who, in the process of investigating a suspicious hatch, has an encounter with a mysterious figure (she/her, for now)... who seems to already know her.

The intent is for The Secret of the Cave to resemble a serialised text comic strip printed weekdays in an imaginary national newspaper from Monday 19 January, X42 to Thursday 5 February, X42 and onwards, which in actuality, of course, it never could have been.
