The Secret of the Cave

"It's cleaning day. You know it's cleaning day. And you're not supposed to bring visitors without having them approved."

A woman with well-considered hair scolds Inger Lint for his breaking of rules Avi had not even thought to think might be there for them to break. The woman's robe and jumpsuit gave her, Avi thought, a somewhat confused look, suggesting something between a scientist and a wizard.

"CLEANING DAY THIS, VISITORS THAT, IT IS ALWAYS SOMETHING WITH YOU PEOPLE!" Inger Lint rants and raves at the woman. "IT IS MY FOREST YOU HAVE INTRUDED UPON AND SOMEHOW IT IS ME WHO IS ALWAYS IN TROUBLE!! I AM AS SICK AND TIRED OF THIS AS IT IS POSSIBLE FOR ME TO BE SICK AND TIRED!!!"

Avi makes good use of their argument, and takes the opportunity to sneak past Inger Lint and the scientist.
