The Secret of the Cave

Another door in the spexernimet part of the tunnel. Spexernimets a-plenty, spexernimets all over the place. Avi approached this one, noting the lightning bolt on the sign over the door, and indeed, what she saw was... electric.

Not, that is, in the sense that what she saw was exciting and captivating, but in the sense that what she saw was a lot of electricity flying around. A man, a gem, a lot of scientific equipment. Sparks flew. What she saw was actually the opposite of electric in the first sense.

The second Avi looked away, shunned her eyes, covered them in pain, from looking straight into bright flashing lights, Avi forgot what she'd seen. Well, she didn't quite forget. It instead became like a memory. Like something that had happened to her in September of last year, but that never really went anywhere.

And that would never come up again.
