Text summary: (click to open) Avi, Annie, and Juno staying behind at the front door, Aquila walks out of the hospital to meet Doc Robin. “Doc.”
Doc Robin looks nonplussed, then… frustrated, their eyes purple. “You’ve never trusted me.
“I—“
But Avi jumps in front of Aquila. “That’s not true. She trusts you with my life. Without any reservation. And, heck,” they both look back at Annie and Juno, “as lives go, you saved Annie’s. That’s got to count for something.
“We don’t get along,” Aquila agrees with Doc Robin, “But I trust you,” she agrees with Avi, “with what matters most.
The pixie loses control of Doc Robin, their eyes no longer purple, smiling at this affirmation of their role in this story. But then the pixie starts to shake, quiver, and generates something diamond-shaped behind them — “…What the hell is on my back?”
