At the top of the stairs, Avi and Aquila embrace. "You are my star, unextinguishable," Avi says.
"You are, and always will be, my island," Aquila responds.
Closing their embrace, they share a comfortable, loving kiss, and go outside, to the tower's balcony.
Avi's narration concludes: "And then what was there left to do... But watch."
