Day Nine.
It's a beautiful November day at the bunker. Lines of clouds gather in the light-grey sky.
"I think this is the most bored I've ever been."
"I think it's been really nice to get to slow down like this."
"Annie, we're on the third day of this Monopoly game."
"Alright, fair."
"So," Aquila asks, walking downstairs with her suitcase, "What are you doing after this?"
"I was thinking Paris maybe?" Annie responds jokingly.
"Annie..."
"I do want to stay here, I think," Annie says, much less confidently, "But I know it needs to be on my own terms. Even if I don't… know what those are yet."
"There's more than enough space for you in the Castle," Aquila says, putting her hand on Annie's shoulder, "With me and Avi. For as long as you need to figure that out."
"Deal."
"Deal."
"I knew I'd want to stay nine days ago, you know."
They fistbump.
