"Oh, right, the front door," Avi says, looking away from his laptop. "Honey, could you--"

The bird coos again.

"Nope, still not here," Avi says, standing up. "Well, that's the end of me getting anything done tonight."

The bird coos again.

"No! Shoo! Not coo!"
