- Still in the forest, Avi stands in front of a fence in front of a single story house. Large stone tiles pave a path past a small pond and to the front door. A sign on the fence tells you not to under without written permission.
- AVI
- As a resident of Nox Islia, you are subject to certain treaties. One of those treaties dictates that you must never cross this fence. For beyond it lies Shady Rest, the House of Darkness.
- (more sternly, pointing at the camera)
- And you are not immune to the Darkness.
- Avi steps behind the camera.

- Can we wrap on this scene? I'd rather not linger.
- DIRECTOR (V.O.)
- Yeah, yeah, just gotta get, like, a minute of room tone. Well, forest tone.
- CAMERA OPERATOR (V.O.)
- (noticing something)
- Uh.
- And indeed -- we see red eyes peering from behind Shady Rest's curtains.
- DIRECTOR (V.O.)
- Oop.
- CAMERA OPERATOR (V.O.)
- Let's say we're done here?
